S.S.C. Farewell 2023-24

Kavi Sammelan 2024

A Kavi Sammelan was organised by St. Xavier’s High School and Junior College and Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Parishad (Navi Mumbai) on Marathi Bhasha Gaurav Din in the school premises. Many poets experienced as well as young poets took part and engaged the audience with their immersive recitations. The participating poets were felicitated by Mrs. Manisha Andhansare, CEO of the school.  It was an extremely entertaining evening with great participation and poetic experience.

National Science Day 2024

Student took part in the National Science Day exhibiting their love for the subject and through skits and beautiful audio visual presentations had a captive audience mesmerised.  Children appreciate Science if its contribution in day to day life is properly exhibited to them. This was precisely how the students through informative and entertaining program drove home the importance of Science and its impact on mankind.

Marathi Bhasha Din 2024

Marathi Language Day, also known as Marathi Bhasha Diwas, was celebrated on February 27th in a befitting way by the students showcasing the rich tradition and history of the Marathi language. This day is marked by various cultural programmes, literary events, poetry recitations, and dances to foster an appreciation for the Marathi language among students. The students participated enthusiastically in the program highlighting their love for the language.

Republic Day Celebration 2024

The 75th Republic Day Celebrations was celebrated with great gusto and a sense of pride. The event was marked by the traditional march past, guard of Honour and flag hoisting and the unfurling of the National Flag by the Chief Guest Mrs. Manisha Andhansare, CEO. The Head Girl of the school Girisha Pillai gave an excellent speech highlighting the theme of the country “Vikasit Bharat.”  She underlined the vision for ‘Vikasit Bharat’ whereby equal opportunities would be available for all.  The Primary Head Boy Swaraj Kshirsagar led the school in reciting the Vikasit Bharat pledge.

Student Council Election (Secondary)

School Council Election was conducted in a democratic way and the Secondary Section students participated very enthusiastically to elect able and responsible leaders of the Student Council thereby getting an opportunity to see the elction process from very close quarters.

Student Council Election (Primary)

The children of the Primary Section learnt about the procedure of Secret Ballot and the role played by elections in a democracy. It was a very fulfilling experience for them with practical application while electing their student leaders.

PRE PRIMARY DENTAL CAMP

Dental Camp for K.G children in collaboration with D.Y. Patil Dental College – A Remarkable Event that brought together expertise and wellness.We believe in nurturing healthy habits from a young age, and what better way to start than with our adorable K.G. children. It was a fun filled day of learning, smiles and well-being!!

HEALTHY ME FESTIVAL

Step back into the world of vibrant & health conscious atmosphere of our HEALTHY ME FESTIVAL on 28/7/2023, where we learnt to prioritize health in the most enjoyable ways.

LAKSHYA AWARENESS PROGRAM 

We hosted a dynamic health & nutrition awareness session for parents of STD 1. Nutritionist Kalyani guided parents through the vital role of Balanced diet, fostering healthier habits for our children.

GYANODAY

Gyanoday’s first Adult Education Class

With great enthusiasm we launched our inaugural adult education class on 26/8/2023. As we embrace the spirit of lifelong learning, the class set the tone for a series of sessions that will help to empower our adult learners with valuable insights & skills. We will continue to ignite minds & foster lifelong learners at GYANODAY. The class marked the beginning of a transformative journey of learning & growth.

INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

The 77th Independence Day was celebrated on 15 August 2023 with great fervour and enthusiasm. The national flag was hoisted by our CEO Manisha Ma’am followed by the traditional March Past and rendition of patriotic songs by the students.

INVESTITURE CEREMONY

Investiture ceremony is an important occasion where the upcoming student leaders are entrusted with certain roles and responsibilities by the school. The leaders from each House were elected as Office Bearers and took the oath of office. Thereafter, they were conferred with badges and sashes by CEO/Principal Ma’am and Executive Committee members. Principal Ma’am congratulated the team and reminded them of their responsibility towards themselves, their School and peers. She advised them to be role models for their peers and the juniors.

WEBSITE LAUNCHING

We are proud to announce that our school website has been launched and was inaugurated on the 15th of August 2023. Manisha Ma’am the CEO shared that the website showcases all the relevant school information as well as the children’s hard work and achievements and hoped that the existing and prospective parents would find it informative and accessible as intended.

Onam-Celebration

Xavier’s believes in Unity in Diversity. In order to imbibe in children the values and ethos of every culture and community every year the festival of Onam is celebrated in a traditional way giving a festive and colourful atmosphere.

Teacher’s Day Celebration

Teacher’s day was celebrated with enthusiasm, a day filled with gratitude and admiration. Our CEO Manisha Ma’am appreciated the teachers for their dedication and passion for playing a pivotal role in nurturing young minds.
