Bharat Ko Jano Quiz Competition

Bharat Ko Jano” is a popular quiz competition that tests participants’ knowledge about India. This competition is often organized by various cultural and educational organizations to promote awareness and understanding of India’s history, culture, geography, and current affairs. Participants, typically students, are asked a series of questions related to India, and they compete to answer them correctly.

“Bharat Ko Jano” translates to “Know India.” It’s a quiz competition designed to encourage participants to learn and explore various aspects of India, from its rich history to its diverse culture and current events. The competition aims to foster a deeper connection with India and promote a sense of national pride.

MARDANI SPORTS NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

Mardani Khel is an armed Indian martial art from Maharashtra. They are particularly known for their use of the uniquely Indian patta (sword) and vita (corded lance).  The 2nd Mardani Sports National Championship 2023 was organised by Mardani Sports Association of Goa and 13 states were invited for participation. It was a proud moment for the school as our students performed exceptionally well in the tournament winning Gold and silver medals.  Gausi Ghemud and Amey Deepak Gajmal won Gold medals and Gayali Santosh Chavan won silver medal in the age category of 13, 14 and 15 respectively.

PARIKSHA PE CHARCHA

Pariksha Pe Charcha has been conceptualised by the Prime Minister wherein students, parents, and teachers interact with him on various topics related to life and exams. It was a proud moment for the school when our students participated in the Essay Competition organised under the same and was awarded certificates  for their active participation.

BHARAT VIKAS PARISHAD SINGING COMPETITION

Rotary is a worldwide organization of more than 1.2 million business, professional, and community leaders. Members of Rotary clubs, known as Rotarians, provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill. the NGO is working for upliftment, betterment, Helping, Supporting for Education of children.

This year the Rotary club of Nerul sea side charitable trust had organised various exams like every year at Vidya Bhavan school at Vashi, such as Poster making,Origami,Quilling,Clay modelling, Collage making,Calligraphy, drawing etc.
The response was tremendous altogether 15 Schools had participated in these competitions.

Inter Collegiate Elocution Competition

An Inter Collegiate Elocution Competition was organized by Chinmaya Mission, Mumbai in which 55 students from more than 20 colleges from Mumbai and Raigad participated. Our Junior College students Miss Avanti Girish and Miss Rashi Asthana won the second and third prize respectively.

State Scholarship

Maharashtra State Scholarship was awarded to the following students of Class V :

• Mast. Adarsh Rai (64.66%)
• Misss Vedadnya Kadam (64.66%)
• Miss Safura Hasbule (61.33%) stood First  Second and Third in the Exam

Maharshtra State Scholarship was awarded to the following students of Class VIII :

• Miss Faseeha Gavande (66.44%)
• Mast. Samarth Jagdale (66.38%)
• Mast. Bhavishyay Jagrawat(63.08%) stood First, second and Third respectively in the Scholarship exam
